Things to know before visiting Doggie Dash Boarding

Be sure your Furry Friend's health records are up to date prior to visiting!

For every pup's safety, we will require a copy of shot records from your vet clinic prior to any visit to our kennels,

this includes RabiesBordetella, 5-Way Vaccine (DHLPP), Fecal Test and a Vet issued Wellness Report.

*Dogs on their first round of shots, must have shots 2 weeks prior to boarding.

Hancock Veterinary Clinic located in Jane, MO just outside of Bella Vista across from the Jane Walmart Store

is the clinic that has written and provides on-going monitoring of our Pet Safety Plan.

They will be more than willing to help you with any prior to boarding vet needs if you don't already have a vet!

You will need to either email your records to doggiedashboarding@outlook.com  or you can

upload them when you fill out your new client information in the New Client link.

If you're a past guest, we can let you know if you're pups records are current.

All dogs must have a complete set of records on file prior to our pick up.

We do not accept puppies that have not completed their full puppy shot series that includes Rabies as well.

Doggie Dash will not board a pet over 6 months of age that has not been neutered or spayed.

We know dogs and understand that there are sometimes other circumstances that might be an exception with a vet's approval, such as a breeder needing to board with us, etc.

Extra-large dog breeds may wait up to a year with vets' permission.

WHAT TO PACK WHEN BOARDING:

  • COLLAR: no training collar, only a nylon or leather collar.

  • FOOD: Please provide your pets own food. We can provide Purina One Chicken and Rice for Adult Dogs twice a day for $5 per day per dog if needed. Fresh water will be provided at all times.

  • ANY SPECIAL TREATS: Feel free to provide any treat other than real bones.

  • MEDICATION: Pack all meds needed for the duration of your pets stay along with any instructions to administer.

  • BLANKET: Each private kennel will have a raised cot, anti-stress fatigue mat for comfort rather than hard concrete, and blanket; however, your pet may feel more comfortable with a blanket or stuffed toy from home.

  • TOYS: If your pet has a favorite toy or chew we can put it in their private kennel with them.
